Have a good one Fraser, will be genuinely interested in your views on the shithole?

Why not have lunch in that football cafe there?

You won't be allowed in Westfield unless you arrive early

Embrace it, that shit is all we have until them fuckers sell up and they can do something that remotely resembles a football stadium. If you’re lower tier behind the goals or front 3/4 of the East it’ll be fine.

Just try and get fed and watered before you get to the stadium as the prices take the piss. Best offering near the Bobby Moore is rib man. Any of that other corporate shit like dominoes will charge you about a fiver a slice of pizza.

Expect a boring 1-0. Enjoy 👍🏻👍🏻

That's a good deal for those seats, Tex.

Have a good day mate - I'll be interested to see what you make of it all...

Don't forget to sign up for RWHFG on your way in!

I'm sure you'll enjoy it despite some of the downside. If you plan to go into Westfield that is fine but the ways in on the Stadium side are barried off. Go in from the station side and come out via John Lewis.

I'll be there today. Looking forward a to it. Not a regular, maybe my 10th visit.

If the team are up for it, the atmosphere should be good and you should have a good time.

Re: First time at stadium today
Aim to get to the ground at 2.15pm. You'll go straight through the security checks and be inside in no time. Get your Mrs and the kids to their seat, and then go for a wander. Last week I took a half time stroll up to the Bobby Moore Upper, above the TV screen, to see what the view from the back row is like. For £250 or whatever the price is, it'll do. Loads of them seem to come down to the lower tier 20 mins into the first half and fill up the empty seats.

Other things that you might like: the club shop is well organised. You can go outside at half time, if you're on the East side. If not, you can walk around the whole stadium concourse anyway.

At full time, are you planning on going back via Stratford? If recommend leaving at 80/85 mins of you have kids. Alternatively, take the back route to the right of the aquatics, under the bridge and over the pedestrian bridge towards the bus station. Much quicker route to get to the tube station and without the boards and stop/go.
